Has won several national and international hair styling competitions, and eventually began to judge them. Nine years ago, Carmelo was inducted in the National Cosmetology Association Hall of Renown, a hall of fame for hairdressers. He is past president of the National Cosmetology Association (NCA) of Connecticut, and vice president and general creative director of Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC), a global hairdressers organization with members from 67 countries. When somebody comes to this country, they see more opportunities than those who were born here, he says. I came with hunger and thirst for that opportunity.

Leonardo has been in the beauty business since 12 years old, helping his dad, Carmelo with shampooing, sweeping, etc. At 16 he received his hairdressing liscense, since then he has been a competitor, platform educator and creative designer for 3 of NCA's Hair-America collections. His strength is creating distinctive looks that complement his model's features and bring out her beauty.
Leonardo Gugliotti

Licensed when he was just 16 years of age, has accomplished a great deal, with qualifications ranging from education to competition. Although Martin has a double major in engineering his love lies in fashion. Salon and Hair Dressing School owner, where he serves as the Dean of Students helping ensure the best prepared graduates. He is a member of the NCA Americas, AACS (American Association of Cosmetology Schools), CEA (Cosmetology Educators of America). His competition history is not easily surpassed, with 3 consecutive national golds, 2nd place at Hairworld in Seoul, Korea in 2000 and a three time Hairworld competitor. More recently Martin has won Global Hairdresser of the year for 2009.
Martin Gugliotti
Luciana has been employed by Gugliottis Hair Fashion in Hartford for 21 years. She started off as a front desk receptionist and has grown to be an integral part of building relationships with our Gugliotti Clientele and has also become the foundation for our Gugliotti Team. Luciana has since become Gugliottis Client Relations Director and carries this title with pride. She finds that she takes a sincere pleasure in catering to the needs and desires of the Gugliotti Clientele and is always willing to gratify the requests of the client whether it is to find an appointment, assist in stylist or product recommendations, or to lend an open ear.

Meghan joined the Gugliotti Team in November of 2007. She has learned that quality salon service begins the moment we pick up the phone and say hello and because of this, she has made it her goal to see that the clients are taken care of at every level of their service. While working at Gugliottis Meghan has earned her Associates Degree in Business Accounting and continues to work towards finishing her Bachelors Degree. In August of 2009, Meghan was given the title of Salon Manager, taking on additional responsibilities within both the salon locations, from helping to oversee salon operations to hiring, and training of new front desk staff to continuing the coordination of front desk management.

Kelley has been with the Gugliotti Team since 2002. She is certified in Keratin Treatments and Balmain & Great Length Extensions. Kelley went on to teach Balmain extension certification classes in many other states. She has become a specialist in updo styles for bridal parties and proms. She teaches specialty classes at the International Institute of Cosmetology and also at the Gugliotti Salon. Her updo styles range from sophisticated, elegant, simple, edgy, and extravagant. She also utilizes her skills with extensions to elaborate these styles for your special day. She is passionate about her work and enjoys making her clients happy.
Kelley Lynch
Progressive Stylist
Marie has been a stylist at Gugliottis since 2004. She has had extensive training in color placement and color techniques. Marie has been an educator at the International Institute of Cosmetology, teaching the freshmen class as well as directing the students in a photo shoots. Marie is also a certified educator for Balmain hair extensions and is also certified in Great Length hair extensions. Marie has participated in many events with the Gugliotti Team, from photo shoots, to as well as working to put events together. Marie is also a specialist at haircutting and consistently continues her education. Always looking for the latest trends, she loves making people feel and look good, finding this the most fulfilling part of her career.
Marie Galanto
Altina has been a part of the Gugliotti Team since 2001. She started as one of the receptionists in our Hartford location and after a few years decided to attend the Gugliotti’s own International Institute of Cosmetology’s to obtain her cosmetology license . She has since been working as a stylist in both the Rocky Hill and Hartford locations for over 8 years. Hair coloring and cutting are her main passions but she also specializes in facial waxing, updo styles, Keratin treatments, perms, and extensions from Balmain and Great Lengths.
Altina Cabrera
Hilda has been a hairstylist and innovator for over 30 years, and still loves the industry. She is very active in every aspect in hair design, coloring, cutting, highlighting, Keratin treatments, perms, etc. Hilda has studied with top designers such as Adam Schuman, Irvine Rusk Group, and many more in Europe and Canada. For several years she has been involved with the Theater Group in Hartford called the producing Guild and the Aetna players, applying stage makeup and working close with the producer. The last couple of years she has been involved in working with models, photographers in their studios to help get the right look for the photograph. Also her latest venture was designing the hair for the fashion line Bebe, for their store opening in West Hartford. With all of this experience she brings this to her clients to give quality service that they will love and hopefully tell others.
Hilda Nieves
Jamie has been working for the Gugliotti Salon & Spa for over 5 years. She graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2006. Jamie has completed a one year assisting program and also attends monthly classes to keep herself educated with the latest hair trends Jamie has also taught classes for over a year at IIC. Her classes helped students build confidence with hairstyling, color, and consultation. She has also been certified in Wella Color & Balmain extensions. Jamie is a visionary and excels in finding the ideal shape and shade for every client. Bela has been with the Gugliotti Team for over 10 years. In September of 2005 Bela started to attend the International Institute of Cosmetologys Esthetics Program. There she excelled in facials, waxing, makeup applications, manicures, and pedicures. After she graduated from the IIC, she has continued extensive training and education in waxing techniques as well specialized Dermalogica Facials and Body Treatments by attending classes at The Dermal Institute of Boston and New York City. She has stepped in as an educator for the IIC Esthetic program over the last 3 years and continues to expand her knowledge within the field of esthetics in every way possible. She enjoys working with the Gugliotti Team to give you the total body experience when you arrive at our Salon & Spa.

For most of her life she has been exposed to the hair industry from family to friends. Is a very hands-on and creative individual and can express that through her trade. She has been building relationships and bringing out the best in clients for years. With being given the best education from the International Institute of Cosmetology, and over-seas hair artists, knowledge continues to grow within her. Michele is Balmain extension certified, Wella color Certified and has worked as an educator at the International Institute of Cosmetology. She loves to expose clients to new techniques and trends, and feels it is more than her job to make you feel comfortable and make sure you are always satisfied.

Amber joined the Gugliotti Team shortly after graduating from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2007. Specializing in a wide variety of hair techniques, from the latest color trends to edgy razor styles. Amber also specializes in mens styling, childrens styling, chemical texturizing, and formal updos including fancy styles.
Amber continues to progress her passion for hairstyling by continuing with educational classes including being certified in Balmain extensions, Wella color, and product knowledge.

Susan's passion for hairstyling started at an early age. In 2009 she graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology, the only Pivot Point School in Connecticut. She specializes in artistic hair coloring, fancy-style, as well as mens and womens hair styling. She engaged in product knowledge education, visionary trend classes with international lead stylists, and numerous Wella Color Certification classes. Along with being certified in Balmain extensions, Susan enjoys expressing her creative side; doing manicures pedicures, and waxing. Whether you are looking for something more traditional or an edgier take on a new trend, Susan can work with you to achieve that look.
Susan Fournier
Has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005. As a licensed professional she makes sure to keep up on continuing education, this gives her other abilities such as being certified in relaxation reflexology, Reiki, hot stone massage, as well as deep tissue massage. Being also licensed in Esthetics, she is able offer a wider range of services to her clients. In 2011 she became the director of esthetics for The International Institute of Cosmetology. She admires all the people she works with and values the experiences they bring to her life.

Shelby became a part of the Gugliotti Team in 2010. She has graduated from the only Pivot Point School in Connecticut, the International Institute of Cosmetology. She is certified in Balmain extensions and attends advanced color and cutting classes to regularly to continue her education. She truly enjoys her job and finds it very gratifying. Passionate with her work, Shelby ensures that each client feels comfortable and confident in their everyday lifestyle. Shelby specializes in precision hair coloring, styling, and designs as well as making clients feel relaxed and refreshed with a thorough manicure, pedicure, or facial. Shelby has worked on photo shoots and a fashion show while assisting Irelands award winning stylist Wayne Lloyd. Shelby is very inspired and always ready to keep up with the latest techniques and hair trends.

Growing up in the salon environment, it was only a matter of time before she started working for the Gugliottis. Vanessa engaged such an amazing education at the International Institue of Cosmetology, where she actively participated in community outreach charitable events as well as photoshoots. Certified in Balmain Hair Extensions and certified Wella Color Professional. She also loves pursuing a deeper working knowledge and study in advanced training in order to continually keep current with the fast changing beauty industry. Vanessa specialized in all aspects of haircolor, men and women cuts, Keratin Treatments and upstyles.
Vanessa Marinelli
Heather specializes in cutting and customized coloring, using attention to detail and artistic design. She creates individualized styles to meet each clients personal needs. She regularly attends classes to keep up with latest techniques and hair trends. Heather has been working with the Gugliotti family since 2009, and enjoys building relationships with her clients and working with them over time as they continue to develop their own style. In addition to hair styling Heather also has a passion for shaping eyebrows to frame the face and compliment the natural shape.
Heather Schwartz
Stanley is a native of China, specifically from Hong Kong, and moved to America when he was 16 years old. He attended the International Institute of Cosmetology, he began his career within the Gugliotti Salon’s in 2009, beginning with their assistant program and then earning his title as a stylist. He enjoys working with the Gugliotti Salon Team and is passionate about doing both men’s and women’s cuts and coloring. Feel free to come see him!
Kin Man (Stan) Sung
Alex knew from day one that Hairdressing was the career for him. His profession allows him to interact with different clients in an environment that is fun and fashionable while allowing expression of his creativity and passion. With every start to a great hairdressing career, not only is a solid understanding of the fundamental skills necessary, but it is the continuing education that sets a stylist apart from the rest. Through classes given by Wella and Balmain, he has become color and extension certified as well as knowledgeable of the best products needed to maintain that color and for clients outside the salon. He has taken classes with hair color specialist Lisa Kelley and assisted International OMC champion Wayne Lloyd in a fashion show and photo shoot to further his skills and broaden expertise. Whether it be a cut, color, manicure, pedicure or facial service, his client's satisfaction is his number one priority.
